Agent Website Templates
The company had a suite of products it offered to its users, custom WordPress websites being one the options. It was a new product being released and thus needed a few pre-made templates for their users to choose from. I participated in designing some templates agents could choose to use on their site that also matched their way of doing business and overall brand.

The Product
Website templates intended to suit the needs of different users.

The Problem
Historically our users, in this case real estate agents, had a barrier to entry on some of our products because of their lack of technical knowledge. Many of our users depended on websites to promote their business and brand, but didn't necessarily have the know-how to create a site that represented them.
The Goal
We were launching a wordpress builder into our suite of products and wanted to design some templates that would appeal to agents from a spectrum of business needs and brands, while also allowing them room to customize said sites. A main goal was to make the process of customizing a template easy enough for most of our users to be able to do.
"Hayden"
This template was designed with teams in mind. Doing some research on realtors (people using these sites) it was apparent that many of them work in teams, and like to market themselves as such. This template allows a team to quickly showcase themselves, services, and values to potential clients.
What made this template special was that there really weren’t many options out there that catered to realtors that worked as a team and I felt this was the right step forward in the options we provided our users.

"Donnelly"
For this template I wanted to give it a luxurious and modern feel. Many realtors often times have different branding for homes of a certain value and I wanted an attractive template that was elegant for their specific branding needs.

It was important to provide useful variety, so that is what I did when creating a template that a large specific group of users would be drawn to. Each element of this luxury template was also easily customizable.

What I learned
I learned the value of being able to design something that is ultimately going to be changed and out of my hands, and how to account for that. I took time to consider and explore how these templates could be adjusted by the end user and also why they might want to. This project taught me how to account for flexibility in my design while maintaining a cohesive overall theme.
